Tea Party Rally Turns...errr...KKK, Skinheads and Other Hate Groups Flock to Arizona
With the tension in Arizona still intact, various hate groups have joined the battle in making sure that the immigration laws can keep “illegal aliens” out of their country.
These people just don't know when to give it up do they?
Having many perceiving Arizona as a state submerged in racism, what better outlet than this for skinheads, the KKK, Neo-Nazi and other groups to force their own opinions and push the idea of “white power”.
Check the video below.
And here's a nice, subtle response to those that feel like this "white power" movement will ever get anywhere.
Dang Florida: Road Signs To Say “No Latinos”, “No Tacos”
Construction workers in Florida are blaming hackers for two flashing road signs that greeted drivers on the Palmetto Expressway saying, “No Latinos” and “No Tacos.”
Officials say the signs are password protected and activated online but that hasn't stopped hackers from using them in the past.
NBC 6 reports that in Austin, Texas, a sign was hacked to say "ZOMBIES IN AREA! RUN while another in Indiana read, "RAPTORS AHEAD - CAUTION."
A spokesman for the company that makes the signs tells NBC that they're investigating the tampering.

WTF!? Story of the Day: Man Rips Out Friend's Heart While Stil Alive
This mofo is crazier than Lady Gaga's outfits.
Upon returning home early one morning, a man was witness to a tragic scene involving two of his friends.
Reported by The Times-Standard, Justin Davis stepped into his home, picking up his dog, and found a gruesome sight before him as his friend, Jarrod Wyatt, was standing in the living room, naked and bloody, with a brutally beaten body, friend Taylor Powell, before him.
Upon entry, he told Davis that he was attempting to cut out his friend's heart.
Wyatt, 26, was a cage fighter and had been reported as acting strangely after drinking some wild mushroom tea.
Davis left the scene and located a pay phone to call the authorities. When they arrived, Wyatt was seen on the couch with the body of Powell. Already beaten, most of his face had been removed and an eyeball was laying in the middle of the living room.
Powell also had a large cut in his chest, in which many of his organs were removed, including his heart. According to Wyatt, he threw the heart in the fire.
As coroner's later examined the body, it was revealed that the heart was extracted from the body of Powell while he was still alive, which caused him to bleed to death. Further investigation showed that he had his head repeatedly rammed into the wall.
Although detectives found mushrooms in the kitchen, it has yet to be determined if these were a factor in the brutal act and his overall behavior.
Wyatt has been charged with first-degree murder.

Happy Birthday: Lalah Hathaway Serenades Patti LaBelle With A 'Song'
Earlier this week Patti LaBelle celebrated her 66th birthday at a star-studded surprise party in Los Angeles. In attendance were Stevie Wonder, Lalah Hathaway, Eddie Levert, Chrisette Michele and many more who came out to celebrate the incomparable LaBelle. With all those singers there, it was a foregone conclusion that there would be some singing going down. At the very least, a rousing rendition of the birthday song was on tap, but her party goers were treated to Hathaway serenading Patti with "A Song For You." Lalah did her daddy proud and almost brought me to tears after watching this video of this cherished moment in time. When Patti starts adding her flourishes to Lalah's honey-coated vocals, it's a wrap. These two need to get to a studio immediately to record this. Wishful thinking aside, this was an awesome gift from Lalah to LaBelle. Simply beautiful.

Talk About Layin On Of Hands: NJ Pastor Freaks Teens
Chilling charges have been brought against a New Jersey pastor. He’s accused of forcing teenaged girls to videotape him and a woman from his congregation having sex at a motel.
Prosecutors say Pastor Moises Cotto had a shocking, dirty secret. Investigators say the trusted pastor of Congregation of Yahweh in Newark was forcing teenaged girls to videotape him having sex with his girlfriend at a Linden motel.
One woman, a member of the church, says she was surprised to hear the allegations, and called Cotto a decent man.
Neighbors say they’re disgusted by the charges.
“It’s a shame, it’s a real shame,” Newark resident Jose Sanchez said.
Prosecutors say Cotto was having an affair with Brenda Pabon, a woman he had been counseling and frequently meeting at the Linden motel.
Investigators say on several occasions, Cotto forced two teenaged girls to videotape him and Pabon having sex at the Benedict Motel. He’s also accused of taking nude photos with one teen and sexually assaulting another teen who resisted his demands.
“We can’t walk the people to their rooms, you know, that’s not how you conduct business,” Benedict Motel owner David Nathanson said. “Once we check them in and we find that their IDs match who they are, we’ve done our share. I wish there was something more we could do, but unfortunately, our hands are kind of tied as business and motel owners.”
Prosecutors say Cotto was busted after one of the teens told her parents about the abuse, which allegedly had happened several times a week starting in 2008.
Nathanson says he’s troubled he could not have prevented the sex abuse that allegedly happened in his motel.
Cotto was arrested at his home on Monday, and is being held on $1.3 million bail. Pabon turned herself in Tuesday, and is being held on $750,000 bail.
This mofo was using the building fund to buy video equipment and had teenagers tape him while performing that holy stroke? Word? For real? Wow!

WTF!? Story of the Day: Four Charged in Tattooing 14-Year-Old Against His Will
The 14-year-old special needs student was told he wouldn't be picked on at his New Hampshire high school if he submitted to having obscene words tattooed on his backside
Donald Wyman, 20, Ryan Fisk, 19, Travis Johnston, 18, and Blake VanNest, 18
NEW YORK (CBS) Four ruthless young men promised a 14-year-old boy they would stop picking on him if he let them tattoo his buttocks with an image of a penis and the words "poop d**k" -- and then they proceeded to do exactly that, say police.
According to The Smoking Gun, a New Hampshire boy was enticed to a Concord home on May 10, where three Concord High School students and one former student warned the teen that he'd be getting the tattoo "whether he liked it or not," said investigators.
Investigators said the boy asked what would happen if he tried to flee and the bullies told him they'd catch him and beat him up, reported the website.
The victim, a ninth grader, has been "frequenly targeted for ridicule by upper classmen," investigators said, according to The Smoking Gun. They said the victim suffers from "learning disabilities and self-esteem issues."
You put yourself in this kid's position, your heart has to go out to him," said Sgt. John Thomas, who said the boy has been picked on so much that he would do anything to stop it. "It's gotten so bad that you have to subject your body to being scarred for life, just to be accepted by your peers."
Blake VanNest, 18, is charged with assault, endangering the welfare of a minor, tattooing without a license, indecent exposure and criminal threatening. Donald Wyman, 20, is charged with criminal liability for the conduct of another and conspiracy to endanger the welfare of a minor.
A fifth attacker, who is 15, is also expected to be charged.
Wyman drew the tattoo on the boy, and Fisk and VanNest did the tattooing, prosecutors said.
The next day, the boy said students in the school were passing around pictures of the tattoo. A teacher overheard a conversation about it called police.
The family of the boy said they planned to speak out about the growing problem of school bullying in the coming the days.
"This is a very emotional time for our family, as we are still trying to absorb what was done to our child," the family said through a lawyer.
What kind of person gets their kicks from teasing, mistreating, bullying a special needs person? I just don't understand why a person would do that. It makes me sick to know that there are people out there that do this just about everyday.

The Facts
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - It lights up just like marijuana.
It'll even get you high.
But this herbal mixture, which some call fake pot, is perfectly legal.
"I could smoke this stuff in front of a cop and they might have something to say about it, but there is nothing they can technically do about it," said a man addicted to it, who asked to remain anonymous.
The Contact Five Investigators went undercover, in and out of local smoke shops, and not only did we find this burgeoning new drug, we're buying it. No ID check, no questions asked.
"It's bad stuff?" substance abuse interventionist Phil Bulone was asked. "Very bad, very bad and parents need to start learning about it," he replied. "You can actually have a heart attack or a seizure."
Bulone was a narcotics cop in New York City for 15 years. He says the hot new drug of choice is taking a toll on users across South Florida. Sometimes called legal pot, spice or genie, it's known generically as K2.
A scientist in a lab apparently created K2 from a synthetic form of THC, the active ingredient in marijuana. He did it for research purposes. His recipe leaked to the streets and is now being sprayed on potpourri and incense.
"It's sold in little bags, it's $20-$30 a gram for it," said the K2 addict. He said while it's commonly called fake pot, the effects are very real. "Munchies, light headedness, mild hallucinations, red eyes," he said.
"It raises the blood pressure and makes you very paranoid, causes damage to the lungs," said Bulone. "So I believe this is a drug that's really going to be dangerous."
Bulone works at the Drug Abuse Treatment Association, counseling teens at the Martin, St. Lucie and Palm Beach County juvenile detention centers. "I asked them, I said 'I'm going to be interviewed by Channel 5 and I'd like to know if any of you have tried it.' After a moment or two several of them raised their hands. When I asked, 'Why are you using it?' the big factor is that's it's not detectable in a urine test."
The Contact Five Investigators set out to see how easy it is to buy K2. Undercover, inside a local smoke shop, the clerk pointed out their most popular selling version of the drug. It's called snafu. We paid $20 and walked out with our stash. No questions asked.
At the next shop, a similar story. The brand of K2 sold there is called Black Magic Smoke. It comes in several flavors. Despite the no smoking reference on the packaging, the goodies were bagged, our cash accepted. Not even an ID check.
The Contact Five Investigators opened both packages, and just as the clerks promised, they were an herbal mixture that looks just like the K2 drug we've been warned about
The Contact Five investigators also searched online and found this: k2cafe.org.
With the click of a mouse, the Contact Five Investigators bought the drug online, only had to sign a waiver pledging we were over 18, and would not be using it for human consumption.
"If I'm a parent and I go into my kids room and I find what I think looks like incense or potpourri, I need to be asking some questions?" the Contact Five Investigators asked Bulone.
"That's correct," he said. "If it appears to be incense or smells real sweet like crushed flowers, this could be an indication that it's K2."
Dang Florida!! Now ya'll sellin fake weed that kills and causes seizure and ish? Ya'll trippin!!

Dayum Florida: Lady Shoots Rapist With Own Gun After He Tried To Force Oral!! [Video]
FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A 19-year-old man was arrested after a woman told police the armed man sexually battered her before she took his gun and fired, apparently hitting him in the leg, according to a recently released affidavit.
Major Lee Barnes, of the 1200 block of North 19th Street in Fort Pierce, faces sexual battery, robbery with a firearm and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon charges after the May 14 incident that happened about 12:02 a.m.
A Fort Pierce police officer went to the area of North 10th Street at Avenue H following a complaint of a man shooting a handgun in the air and was flagged down by the reported sexual attack victim.
She said she was walking in the area of North 10th Street at Orange Avenue when a man on a bicycle approached. The man offered her money for sex, an offer she declined.
He pointed a handgun at her and told her to take off her pants. She said the man searched her private area for money and stole her cellular phone. The man told her to get on her knees and perform a sex act on him.
She was intimidated by the armed man and did so.
During the sex act, she saw the handgun, which the man put in his pocket “as he put his arms back in an apparent relaxed gesture,” the affidavit states.
She grabbed the weapon and pointed it at him. The man charged toward her, and she fired before the man fled the area.
The victim said she wasn’t sure whether the man was hit, but said he “leaned over his leg as if she hit him.”
Barnes told investigators he was walking in the area of North 17th Street and heard three shots and ran. Barnes said he felt he got hit in his right leg. He later said he was lying and that he found a gun. He said he heard a male say his name and heard shots fired at him. He said he threw the gun.
Barnes was held Tuesday morning in the St. Lucie County jail in lieu of $1,050,000 bail, a jail official said.
I hope they throw this ignant mofo under the jail! You lil punk ass bastard! Who tries to rape folk on a bike?! You stoopid tard!!! Ugh! I hope they put him in a cell with the biggest most well endowed dude in jail.

New Music: Lyfe Jennings: "Statistics"
Lyfe Jennings decides to give us his two cents in the new song "Statistics" from his upcoming album, I Still Believe. The probability of me liking this song given that it's by Lyfe, who I'm not a fan of from the door, was already zero. However, instead of putting all the blame on Black women, which many are prone to do when this topic comes up, Lyfe puts men on Front Street, albeit it with statistics that are more grounded in fuzzy math than fact. Does he provide some food for thought in the song? Yes. But his relationship tips are pretty much common sense to anyone with sense. This song really isn't as deep as he would have us to believe.
New Music: Quadron - "Herfra Hvor Vi Står"
While in Los Angeles, Danish group, Quadron had a little jam session that the good folks over at Yours Truly captured for our viewing and listening pleasure. They sing "Herfra Hvor Vi Står" and don't bother to translate it to English. Regardless, the song is really beautiful, and, according to an accompanying letter, the lyrics are great if you're "one of 6-10 million humans in the world who can understand [it]." I have to admit, it is highly enjoyable with a little bit of mystery.

Rumor Mill: It's True

Hall-of-Famer Calvin Murphy went on ESPN Radio in Houston today and kept the talk of a Gloria James/Delonte West affair alive by saying: “It ain’t no rumor.”
Murphy went a step further by confirming that the story is “absolutely true,” that everyone knew about it, and he has “legit” sources who can prove it. He even threw more salt in Lebron’s wounds by stating that Delonte was not the only one hitting off Gloria — there was more than one dude involved!
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
Murphy said Lebron is planning on taking some time off behind this — and the NBA will end up blackballing somebody behind this. Lebron has got to be pissed right now. Poor thang!

Mark Williams, the conservative talk radio host who is listed as chairman of the Tea Party Express and acts as a frequent spokesman for the group, wrote on his blog Friday:
The animals of allah for whom any day is a great day for a massacre are drooling over the positive response that they are getting from New York City officials over a proposal to build a 13 story monument to the 9/11 Muslims who hijacked those 4 airliners.
The monument would consist of a Mosque for the worship of the terrorists’ monkey-god and a “cultural center” to propagandize for the extermination of all things not approved by their cult.
Williams continued:

LORD Have Mercy!: 14 Year old girl drugged, raped, and tortured in basement for 2 weeks

A 14-year-old girl was repeatedly raped, drugged and beaten by two men for two horrifying weeks in a Brooklyn basement, prosecutors said.
Anthony King and Kevin Evans, both 24, were identified by the victim after she escaped from the Crown Heights basement on Tuesday, court records show.
Evans picked up the girl and a female friend, also 14, on April 27 and took them to New Jersey, where they used heroin, officials said.
"They get back into the automobile, the complainant's friend is dropped off at her home and the complainant is not allowed to exit the automobile," Assistant District Attorney Wilfredo Cotto told Judge Kevin McGrath at King's arraignment Friday.
The girl was taken to a home on President St. and handcuffed to a chair in the basement, where she was kept for more than two weeks, Cotto said. While she was there, Evans injected her with a substance that knocked her out, prosecutors said.
Evans spent the next two weeks brutalizing the girl, lawyers charged. She was beaten, raped and even scalded with boiling water, sources said.
King, who lives in the neighborhood, eventually joined Evans in raping and beating the girl, sources said.
The drugged and savaged girl drifted in and out of consciousness until Tuesday, when she woke up and realized she was uncuffed and that another woman was in the basement, sources said.
"She asked the woman if there was anyone else in the house," a source said. "She said no, and the girl just takes off and calls her mother."
The girl and her mother went to police, and the victim identified King and Evans in photo lineups, sources said. Cops arrested them Wednesday.
Both men were arraigned on charges that included rape against a physically helpless person and unlawful imprisonment. They face up to 25 years in prison. Evans is being held on $100,000 bail, and King on $200,000 bail.
A police source said both girls went to New Jersey with Evans voluntarily, "but one girl was not allowed to leave."
The victim was reported missing, but a police source described her as a "chronic missing person," a known drug user and a prostitute.
"Mr. Evans maintains his innocence," defense lawyer Mitchell Salaway said.
Evans' sister, Nina Evans, 23, told the Daily News her brother and his friend are victims of mistaken identity.
"They picked up the wrong guys," she said, saying two men who hang out on their block "look very similar to my brother."
"[The victim] said the guy who molested her has one tattoo on his arm. Kevin has four tattoos, one on each wrist, one on his shoulder, one on his chest."
"Kevin said they were charging him with rape. They said he scalded her with hot water. There is no water in our house. My brother doesn't do heroin, and he don't have no needles."
King's mother, Maria Hassock, said she doesn't believe her son was involved. "The only thing I can say about my son is that he would not participate in a kidnapping or sex assault. This is crazy. It's so far-fetched."
You Know You Goin To Hell When... Man Tries To Exchange His 3-Month-Old Daughter For A 40 Oz…
It's official. The world is commin to an end!

When I first saw this I was saying to myself, "Please don't be black!" But ya know how you can tell the race of a person just by reading the title...ugh...
My dude? What would posses you to even think that your 3 month old baby girl is worth 2 40's? Really? This is why I believe people need to be chemically sterile at birth and then have to apply for a license to have babies!

Massachusetts: Chicopee police say a man faces a child endangerment charge after allegedly offering to swap his 3-month-old daughter for a pair of 40-ounce beers. Police say 24-year-old Matthew Brace of Northampton made the offer to a maintenance man outside a gas station convenience store on Monday. The maintenance man called police, who say they found Brace hiding with the girl behind a trash container.
State child welfare officials took the baby into custody. Police say Brace was not arrested but will be summoned to court to face a charge of reckless endangerment of a child. The child’s mother was in the store at the time buying cigarettes. She has not been charged.
A phone number for Brace could not immediately be located.

Gotta Love The Police - Update: State And Federal Lawsuits Filed In 7-Yr-Old Shooting, Video Evidence To Be Revealed To Contradict Police Accounts

Prominent Southfield attorney Geoffrey Fieger called “absurd” any suggestion the shot fired by police officer during a raid that killed a 7-year-old girl Sunday morning was the result of an altercation between the cop and the girl’s grandmother.
Fieger said today at an hour-long press conference he has filed lawsuits on behalf of the family of slain Aiyana Jones in both federal and state courts. The federal lawsuit argues the police violated the girl’s constitutional rights and it seeks an award of more than $75,000. The state suit contains four counts and seeks damages in excess of $25,000.
Fieger said a three-minute video taken of the raid shows the gunshot fired came from the porch of the two-story duplex on the 4000 block of Lillibridge shortly after a “flash-bang” grenade was thrown into the home, contradicting police accounts. “This type of activity by a police force is unacceptable in America,” he said.
And Fieger said the video shot during Detroit police’s execution of a search warrant showed they hunted a murder suspect — a 34-year-old man wanted in connection with the Friday night slaying of a 17-year-old outside of a liquor store — in the wrong unit of the duplex Sunday and are culpable in the death of Aiyana Jones.
Aiyana Jones was on a couch when she was struck by a bullet in the neck/head area during the police raid at about 12:40 a.m. Sunday in the duplex on the city’s east side.
Fieger called upon officers today who participated in the raid to step forward and tell Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans and others what they saw at the scene. He also called the police version of the raid a “cover-up.”
“You all know what happened at this scene. Please don’t let this child have died in vain,” he said. Fieger said the city owes the family, including Aiyana Jones’ grandmother, Mertilla Jones, apologies for implying she may have been at fault. He said he will file a lawsuit on her behalf for false arrest.
[Lemme get this straight. The police arested Aiyana Jones’ grandmother saying that she (Mertilla Jones) provoked the police by shooting at them and it was the return fire that killed her grand-daughter. Sooo...the police are saying the grandmother started it? This is some bull]
“This is an opportunity to come together, not to tear us apart,” he said. “And I believe ultimately what has to happen, that this city not be torn apart, that this city be brought together by an admission by the powers that be, that this was wrong, this is what happened, apologize to this father and this mother and this grandmother.
“Apologize now and we can start the road to healing.” Fieger, who hasn’t revealed the source of the video, said the camera had a perfect angle on the incident as it occurred. He said the footage he has seen would be admissible in court if it is not destroyed before it can be introduced as evidence, which he said he fears could happen.
The TV series “The First 48,” which airs on the A&E Network, was filming during the incident. The show is cooperating with police in the probe, and investigators have examined the footage taken by the crew at the scene early Sunday morning.

Textbooks cost the average American student about $900 per year. New editions often come out every three years and tend to run 45% more than used copies of previous editions. Between 1995 and 2004 textbook prices rose at more than four times the rate of inflation, according to Nicole Allen, a director at Student Public Interest Research Group, a student advocacy group. "Students are a captive audience since professors decide what books they need to buy," says Allen.

Gotta Love the Police: Ariz. immigration law divides police across US
Undocumented student's arrest called part of 'civil rights disaster'
Ya know, sometimes I do feel sorry for the police. They have it hard.
Ya know, sometimes I do feel sorry for the police. They have it hard.
PHOENIX – Arizona's tough new law cracking down on illegal immigration is dividing police across the nation, pitting officers against their chiefs and raising questions about its potential to damage efforts to fight crime in Hispanic communities.
Two officers are challenging the law in court, while police unions that lobbied for it are defending it against criticism from police officials.
Both sides are debating how a law such as Arizona's can be enforced, without leading to racial profiling of Hispanics and without alienating residents in Hispanic neighborhoods with whom police have spent years trying to build trust.
"Before the signing of this bill, citizens would wave at me," said David Salgado, a 19-year Phoenix police officer who sued the city and the governor asking that the law be blocked. "Now they don't even want to make eye contact."
Still, police unions say, many of their officers in Arizona, the nation's busiest corridor for illegal immigration and smuggling, are tired of feeling helpless when dealing with people they believe are in the country illegally. Those officers want a tool to arrest them.
"Crime is not based upon skin color, it's based upon conduct," said Mark Spencer, president of the Phoenix Law Enforcement Association, the union representing Phoenix officers that lobbied aggressively for the law.
It requires police enforcing another law to verify a person's immigration status if there's "reasonable" suspicion they are in the U.S. illegally.
Several Arizona police chiefs and sheriffs say, as hard as officers try not to profile, enforcing the law will inevitably lead to it. They say it will end up taking time away from solving crimes in their cities and towns.
"When you get a law that leads a state down this path, where the enforcement is targeted to a particular segment of the population, it's very difficult not to profile," said Phoenix Police Chief Jack Harris, a critic of the law.
On Monday, police bosses from Maryland and Nevada condemned the law, saying that it could suck up vital resources and destroy delicate relationships with immigrant communities if implemented in their own states. There are at least nine other states considering similar legislation.
Police Chief Thomas Manger of Montgomery County, Md., in suburban Washington said he doesn't have the resources or the desire to enforce federal immigration violations by people who aren't disrupting the community.
"If they're not committing a crime here, frankly, I'm not sure how it enhances public safety to target those people for removal," he said.
Manger spoke on a conference call with the sheriff of Washoe County, Nev., and the retired police chief of Sacramento, Calif. The call was organized by the Law Enforcement Engagement Initiative, which advocates immigration reform.
Their criticism added to the chorus of opponents since the law's adoption April 23. There have been calls for boycotts, and some state and local governments have decided to stop doing business with the state in protest.
On Monday, the American Civil Liberties Union, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund filed the latest challenge to the law in federal court on behalf of labor unions and others.
The law takes effect July 29 unless blocked by the pending court challenges. Being in the country illegally would become a state crime, and Arizona residents could sue an agency or officer they feel isn't enforcing immigration laws to the fullest extent possible.
Arizona's legislation was passed in part with the lobbying muscle of the unions. An association of police chiefs tried to defeat or soften it.
Tucson police officer Martin Escobar also filed a lawsuit, arguing there's no "race-neutral" criteria for him to suspect that someone's in the country illegally. Some say it would be impossible to enforce without relying on indicators such as skin color, clothing and accent.
They worry Hispanic crime victims will be too scared to call for help, or eyewitnesses will refuse to cooperate in murder investigations.
Supporters say there are plenty of indicators other than race that suggest someone is an illegal immigrant, including a lack of identification and conflicting statements. They say police have plenty of experience enforcing laws without relying on physical characteristics.
If officers are empowered to decide when it's appropriate to arrest or even to kill someone, they should be trusted not to profile based on race, said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, a supporter whose jurisdiction includes busy human and drug smuggling routes into Phoenix.
"We will do it without profiling," he said. "And any police chief or any sheriff in Arizona will not tolerate profiling based on race or national origin. That's unacceptable."
Gov. Jan Brewer insists racial profiling will not be tolerated. When she signed the bill, Brewer ordered the state's police training and licensing board to develop standards for enforcement that avoid profiling.
The board will meet Wednesday to adopt a framework for the training program, which director Lyle Mann said would include digital instruction materials for all of Arizona's 15,000 police officers.
Designing a training courses that prevents officers from using "the shortcut of race" will be difficult, said Jack McDevitt, associate dean of criminal justice at Northeastern University who studies racial profiling.
"No training you give police officers is going to change all of the officer's behavior," McDevitt said. "Unfortunately, the shortcut will be: 'What does this person look like? What kind of accent does he have? And what kind of car is he driving?'"

New Movie: 'Battle'
From the producer of You Got Served and the director of Beatmakers comes Battle, a coming-of-age tale about an Atlanta-area producer who balances beats and school to fulfill his dream of winning a beat battle. Though Movieweb may have described this as an "urban Rocky"--huh?--I think this movie feels more like Juice, minus Omar Epps and Tupac's stellar acting, malt liquor being used to flavor eggs cooking in a skillet, and a murder plot. It may be good, but only time will tell once it's released in theatres. Peep the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments. By the way, the mixtape made to promote the movie isn't half bad.
