The vice-chancellor of a Nigerian university has mandated that any student who dresses indecently be arrested and not be allowed to graduate.
Professor Olaiya Balogun of the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, told matriculating students that any form of indecent dressing in the halls of residence in the university will result in their arrest,Online Nigeria reports.
Balogun said students should not wear anything they could not wear in the presence of their parents, and if they do, other tough sanctions to deter them from such vices will be instituted.

He did not elaborate on what those sanctions were except to say, “Once you have been weighed on the balance of character and you are found wanting, there is no chance for you to graduate, no convocation.”
